"Crème de la Crème" of San Francisco Mint Coins in S.S. Central America Treasure

Now certified by PCGS, the public can see them for the first time at the ANA 2018 Philadelphia World's Fair of Money®.  The latest recovery of sunken treasure from the legendary "Ship of Gold," the S.S. Central America, includes six coins that now comprise the finest known "San Francisco Mint denomination set" for $1, $2.50, $3, $5, $10 and $20 gold pieces, according to the California Gold Marketing Group (CGMG).

Steve Sloan Named President of PSA

Newport Beach, Calif – Steve Sloan has been named President of Professional Sports Authenticator and PSA/DNA Authentication Services (, it was announced earlier today.  Sloan, who has served as the company’s vice president over the past year, has been with the collectible industry’s top third-party authentication and grading company since 2012.
