R-7. William Barber's Sailor Head obverse shows a portrait of Liberty with her hair tied back with a ribbon, wearing a coronet inscribed LIBERTY. A small IN GOD WE TRUST is above and the date below with 13 small stars surrounding. The reverse is the regular dies for the 1877 Seated Liberty Quarter. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This is a fully struck and unblemished example with attractive multi-color toning.
