Choice Proof (14: 4;5;5) 99%. S-PT1. Bronze; No L. Very close to full red; which is unheard of for this issue. Most are deeply toned to brown; sometimes with vivid colors. These were stored for a long time in envelopes where they acquired that toning. This is the exception. It is very attractive with good mirrors and hardly a flaw. There are a few edge depressions which are found on a group of these that came out of the Abe Kosoff estate that appear to be mint-caused. The dies are aligned in the medal-turn; as usual.
