Very desirable, low mintage Seated Dollar struck in Carson City. Only 11,758 coins were struck and very few are extant today. In fact, only three MS64 examples are known! A well-struck, deeply toned original with an array of complex colors that appear violet-grey when viewed straight-on, but flash with olive greens and deep gold colors in direct lighting. Luster glows throughout and lights up the toning, showcasing strong details. No striking weakness can be seen save for the hair and a few star centers, and minimal chatter makes the viewer ponder about a loftier grade. A perfect piece for the determined registry set collector. Visit www.davidlawrence.com for more information on this coin and 7000+ more coins.
