Sam Houston Philatelics, est. 1977, is one of the earliest dealers in Graded Stamps. Our specialty is duck stamps; however we deal in ALL graded and ungraded U.S. stamps.

Sam Houston has built its reputation on providing friendly and accurate service to collectors for over 30 years. The company published an award-winning catalogue of Duck and United States stamps, conducts Public and Mail Auctions, offers a large selection of material on eBay and operates a retail store.

Sam Houston Duck Co., a division of SHP, is the worldwide leader in collectible duck stamps. Both Bob and Rita Dumaine have served as judges in the prestigious Federal Duck Stamp Contest, as well as state and federal junior duck contests.

Bob Dumaine co-authored the APS Gold Medal Award winning book The Duck Stamp Story, the definitive work on the history of the duck stamp program. For 20 years he wrote a monthly column for Linn's Stamp News, and in the summer of 2008 was inducted into the APS Philatelic Writer's Hall of Fame.
