Part II of the Coronet Collection Headlines a Powerhouse October Regency Auction XIV

- September 24, 2015

Lincroft, NJ – Legend Rare Coin Auctions returns to The Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for The Regency Auction XIV, which is headlined by the highly anticipated Coronet Collection Part II.  Part I of The Coronet Collection of MS Morgan Dollars, the number one all-time MS Morgan Dollar set on the PCGS Set Registry, was sold in their June Regency Auction XII.

$5 1853-C PCGS MS64 Ex Bass/Bareford
Lot # 326 - $5 1853-C PCGS MS64 Ex Bass/Bareford

The auction, opening with Part II of The Coronet Collection, The Gulf Coast Collection, and the balance of the Morgan Dollars, will begin at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET on Thursday, October 15 and will be preceded by two full days of lot viewing and one day of lot viewing by appointment.  As always, The Regency Auction XIV is held in conjunction with the PCGS Members Only Show, of which Legend Rare Coin Auctions is the official auctioneer.

Julie Abrams, Legend Auctions' President, "considers this one of our finest auctions to date, and if you're a Morgan Dollar collector, The Regency Auction XIV should be a dream come true, including not only The Coronet Collection, but also the Gulf Coast Collection, and as is to be expected with our sales, an amazing group of killer toned Morgan Dollars.  We could have easily run a 500 lot sale, but we rejected over 100 coins that we felt were not up to our discerning standards.  It's our mission to ensure that each auction is filled with coins of the utmost quality so you can bid with complete confidence.  Maintaining our boutique style auctions has helped us grow dramatically over the last three years and has created a substantial base of top collectors and dealers who enthusiastically participate in each sale."

It's not easy to choose just a few highlights from the 355-lot Regency Auction XIV, but some of the standouts include:
