This beauty was printed in 1951 10 Afghanis with serial number 34X016762 and Pick number 33a. Graded 66 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) GEM by PMG. Only one this one graded at this level with only one finer, according with PMG Pop Report. Notice the eye popping contrast, bright, crisp paper and great color. The Afghani is the currency of Afghanistan. On the obverse of the note has the portrait of King Muhammed Zahir Shah was the last King (Shah) of Afghanistan, reigning for four decades, from 1933 until he was ousted by a coup in 1973. Following his return from exile he was given the title 'Father of the Nation' in 2002 which he held until his death.
