Fr. 1228, 1240, 1279 and 1310 First Issue Courtesy Autographed Perforated Denomination Set. The set comprises Fr. 1228 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ, 1240 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ, 1279 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ, and 1310 PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ. All four of the notes are identically signed at the lower left by J.N. Huston, who signs on two lines "JN Huston - Treas 1889-1891." This set was Lot 837 from the Stack's October 11, 2007 sale. Another set that owes its existence to F.C.C. Boyd, who deserves all the credit for originally assembling most of this wonderful Courtesy Autograph collection.
