1839 25C NO DRAPERY MS64+ PCGS CAC - This attractive PCGS 1839 No Drapery Quarter Dollar with Closed Claws Reverse is a highly desirable type coin from a brief three-year design run, making it an important addition for type collectors. With a mintage of 491,146 and a survival estimate of just 1,200 coins. CAC endorsement confirms the outstanding originality of this coin’s toning and surfaces, which remain completely unaltered and authentic. The obverse displays genuine shades of silver-salmon transitioning into electric blues and iridescent hues around the devices. A natural, original patina envelops the entire obverse, while the edges are accented by rich cobalt blues. Seldom seen in finer condition, this piece has a CAC population of only two finer. With a non-CAC MS66 PCGS selling for $81,000.
