The 1795 small eagle 'five' is ever elusive and sound examples are few and far between. This is an impressive mint state specimen! The design elements are boldly impressed with no wear and hard, quality surfaces. An attractive lemon-gold color presents throughout the flashy surfaces. No adjustment marks are present, but some interesting die-polish lines can be found around the eagle's head (as minted). A single reverse dentil mark can be seen on the upper reverse, where another coin impacted this soft, gold coin.
