This VF 30 example ranks among the finer Fr. 1192 notes available. Evenly circulated, it features full, balanced margins, strong color on both the face and back, and excellent paper originality. The front displays a detailed bust of Silas Wright (1795–1847), a prominent statesman who served as a U.S. Senator (1833–1844) and later as Governor of New York (1845–1847). His portrait was engraved by Charles Burt from a painting by Alonzo Chappell. The reverse showcases a majestic eagle perched on a draped shield. A handsome and desirable note ready to enhance any collection.
