A pleasing example of this scarce Dahlonega Mint issue which saw a mintage of just 8,382 coins. It displays warm, original yellow-gold color with subtle orange undertones and genuine Mint State luster. Liberty???s portrait shows clear central definition, with bold stars and legible dentils framing the obverse. The reverse features a well-defined wreath enclosing the denomination and date, with the D mintmark below. Light contact marks are fewer than expected for the grade, while the overall presentation remains pleasing and problem-free.
