An exceptional Proof Seated Dollar of outstanding preservation and eye appeal. Deep mirrored fields contrast beautifully with sharply defined devices, producing a refined cameo effect. Liberty and the reverse eagle are crisply struck, with every star and feather rendered in exquisite detail. The surfaces are remarkably clean, displaying circular peach-gold bullseye toning at Liberty's lower portrait surrounded by blue and ivory-gold shades throughout the mirrored fields. A superb Gem Proof example of this low-mintage antebellum issue, offering both rarity and striking visual impact.
