Low R-6. A regular dies trial of the 1867 No Rays nickel. Struck in copper with a plain edge. This is a sharply struck proof with intricate detail throughout the shield and reverse star arrangement. Reflective fields display deep mirror character, complemented by rich, even brown patina with subtle underlying iridescent lavender and blue hues. Well-preserved with minimal handling, offering strong eye appeal for this scarce pattern issue.
