CAC. High R-6. Obverse head type similar to the 1883 Liberty Nickel, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA with the date below. The reverse shows a Roman Numeral 1 within a wreath. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. This is a superb Gem Proof exhibiting deeply mirrored fields and bold frosted devices that create a strong cameo contrast. The surfaces are exceptionally clean, with razor-sharp detail throughout Liberty???s portrait and the reverse wreath. Rich, reflective brilliance enhances the eye appeal, while the CAC endorsement confirms its superior quality for the grade.
