1792 Half Disme PCGS Genuine AG Details Damage One of the most historically significant coins in American numismatics — the 1792 Half Disme is considered the first coin struck under the authority of the United States Mint Act of 1792, predating regular mint production. Only approximately 1,500 were struck. PCGS certified genuine with an AG Details designation; the damage notation refers to surface scratches. The coin is fully authentic and authenticated by PCGS. Obverse shows Flowing Hair bust with LIBERTY and date 1792, reverse shows flowing eagle. Both sides visible and identifiable. A genuine piece of American history from the birth of the United States Mint.
