Abington, MA- Abington Bank $2 Oct. 18, 1858 as G4 PCGS Banknote Fine 12. The Abington Bank was organized in 1850 and remained in business until being succeeded by the Abington National Bank which was chartered on July 1, 1865. The $2 design features three cattle by a tree at left center, sharing space with a large gray 2. The Massachusetts coat of arms is at bottom right and a young woman's portrait is at bottom center, with a large red TWO protector completing the layout.
