Fr. 1267 15¢ Fourth Issue PMG Choice About Unc 58. The bust of Columbia appears on the only 15¢ note issued as part of the fractional currency series (another 15¢ type, featuring the portraits of Sherman and Grant, was prepared but never released and is known only in Proof form). The face impression is shifted up to such a degree that a narrow portion of the top border of an adjacent note on the sheet appears in the bottom margin of this note.
