Trans-Mississippi Ball 328 Cr. UNL $1,000 Bond 1864 Fine; Ball 38 Cr. 88 $1,000 1861 Bond Fine. Printed on the back of Ball 328 is, "Issued to M.J. Hall, Depositary, Marshall, Texas, and valid only / when endorsed by him or by P.W. Gray, Agent of the Treasury, C.S.A. Trans=Mississippi Department." This is followed with the signature of "M.J. Hall" on the back. The Ball 328 has an approximate one inch right edge tear.
