According to estimates, only five of these overdate Humbert tens were recovered from the wreck, of which this is the finest. A Kagin-8 variety identified by the massive die crack on the reverse. All territorial overdates are extraordinarily rare, placing this coin in a truly elite category for pioneer gold collectors and those who seek shipwreck recovery pieces. Pale gold coloration and pleasing details are uplifted by soft luster. Visit www.davidlawrence.com for more information on this coin and 7000+ more coins.
