Dan Bryant's "HOW ARE YOU GREEN-BACKS!" Sheet Music Performed by Bryant's Minstrels ND (ca. 1860s) Not Graded. A popular blackface minstrel troupe lead by Dan Bryant, who is probably depicted on the $10 note pictured at center. The song uses its lyrics to satirize, to a certain extent, the U.S. Government's introduction of Greenbacks to fund the Civil War and the overall performance of different Generals. While the lyrics are not inappropriate or vulgar, some of the language used reflects the time period when discussing minority groups. There will be no returns on this lot for any reason.
