Warm mint red still dominates this 1897 Indian cent, mellowing naturally toward russet and faded rose across the reverse in the honest way original RB copper should. The strike is sharp with well defined feather tips and crisp wreath detail, and flashy luster spins across both sides. Fields and cheek are notably clean for the grade, and a hint of violet iridescence around the reverse legends adds character. Housed in a vintage NGC "fatty" holder with a green CAC sticker - an old-time example with excellent eye appeal.
