The Bill of Landing could be for the ship Ann+Hope's first voyage, as the document records the ship bound for the port of Canton, China for tea. The promise of payment letter has a few edge tears and internal tears that a previous owner attempted to repair with tape. The New York check was hammer-cut cancelled.
