1908 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. Bela Lyon Pratt's innovative incuse Indian design was introduced on the quarter eagle in 1908 and contemporary collectors saved a number of high-quality specimens for numismatic purposes. Accordingly, the 1908 is an available issue in MS65 today and the issue is extremely popular with type collectors. This attractive Gem displays well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of the usual softness on the eagle's shoulder. The well-preserved orange-gold surfaces are lustrous and appealing.
