1834 $5 Plain 4, HM-3, R.2, MS61 NGC. Ex: S.S. New York. The early die state, without the vertical crack through Liberty's cheek. This Mint State piece displays bright yellow-gold color and appreciably reflective fields. A sharp strike prevails throughout the devices and obverse border stars, while abrasions are minor.
