1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge, S-6, B-7, R.3, XF45 PCGS. Breen Die State III, with a heavy die bulge running almost horizontally from rim to rim through the Liberty portrait. This example is well detailed and displays light wear. Mottled russet-gold and chestnut-brown patina characterizes each. Distracting marks are minimal and not bothersome. We have seen a number of Sheldon-6 examples with minor to significant planchet flaws, and the current Choice XF coin exhibits numerous planchet fissures on the obverse, most notably in the left margin and over Liberty's portrait.
