1907 $20 High Relief, Wire Rim, MS61 PCGS. A High Relief Saint-Gaudens double eagle is almost an essential coin for any gold type collector to acquire, and many numismatists would consider to be the most beautiful coin the U.S. Mint ever struck for circulation. The current example displays a bold strike, in keeping with expectations for an issue that was so painstakingly produced with multiple die impressions. Although lightly abraded, the fields retain appreciable satin luster, and the rich straw-gold color is original. Eye appeal is pleasing for the MS61 level. Housed in a generation 3.1 green label holder. The High Relief Saint-Gaudens twenty is listed among the 100 Greatest U.S. Coins. HID06601242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
