Gem Unc (14: 4;5;5). DDO FS-105. This is an outstanding example and a scarce and popular doubled die. The doubling is evident on the eagle's tail and head as well as nearly all letters of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Full strike with booming luster. This is the broken wing tip hub; which is the same hub that produced the 1858/7 S1. This is tied for finest known example for the variety.
