Smooth, even brown surfaces retain a pleasing faded red tint, giving the coin considerable character and eye appeal. Liberty???s portrait remains sharply defined, with strong detail throughout the reverse wreath and only light wear evident. The distinctive Spiked Chin variety is readily apparent on this attractive high-grade early half cent.
