Connecticut October 11, 1777 2d PMG Choice About Unc 58. The 2d note was the smallest denomination issued as part of the 1777 small change bill emission. This example, retaining the sheet selvage at left, is well printed and has bold signatures of Samuel Squier on the face and J. Porter on the back, registering the note's cancellation.
