Connecticut Interest Certificate Feb. 27, 1792 £2-15s-5d Anderson CT-49 PCGS Extremely Fine 45; Connecticut Interest Certificate Dec. 27, 1790 £2 Anderson CT-53 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40. These certificates were issued to pay interest on the state debt which had been consolidated in 1789. The Anderson CT-53 certificate (£2 printed denomination) has the commonly encountered large hole cancel while the CT-49 certificate has a more subtle cut cancel.
