Maryland March 1, 1770 $6 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35. A note printed by the mother and son printers of A(nne) C(atherine) and W(illiam) Green. William was one of 14 children born to printers Jonas and Anne Catherine Green. Their house would be expanded in the 1740s to make room for a print shop, a post office, and their large family. Jonas died in 1767, and Anne Catherine passed away on March 23, 1775. This is a well signed and printed Maryland note that does have edge splits and tears with the longest measuring approximately a half an inch at top center.
