Massachusetts 1779 3s PMG Very Fine 30. A bright, well margined example of this popular Rising Sun issue of which only 9,411 were authorized for issue. This emission was printed from face plates that had been engraved by Colonial printer, silversmith, and legendary forefather Paul Revere, who also printed the faces of the notes themselves. It exhibits even wear, with PMG mentioning only some small margin nicks/tears. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
