New Jersey April 12, 1760 6s PMG Very Fine 20. Part of the Eleventh War Issue totaling £45,000, used to pay the colony's expenses related to the French and Indian War, this 6s note has seen extended time in circulation but has survived the experience without attracting any repairs or meaningful impairments aside from even wear. Design elements, particularly the sage leaf nature print on the back, are clear. The signatures of Samuel Nevill and Samuel Smith are still legible while the third signature which is quite faded may be that of Joseph Hollinshead. Very rare with only around seven examples known to us as present. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
