Virginia May 4, 1778 (Dates Printed) $7 PMG Very Fine 20. Printed on thick paper, this $7 was the third highest denomination emitted under the May 4, 1778, Act. The note bears a printed date at lower right and was produced by Alexander Purdie. When Purdie died, Clarkson & Davis took over the contract. This offering exhibits just even wear.
