1794 1/2 C Low Relief Head, Small Letters Edge, C-2a, B-2b, High R.2, VF30 PCGS. CAC. Manley Die State 3.0, the usual state with die clashing on both sides. This 1794 half cent retains much if its original detail across glossy, chestnut-brown fields accented by steel high points. A loupe reveals only a few small planchet defects and tiny ticks that have little impact on the overall eye appeal. This pleasing VF30 example is endorsed by CAC for high quality at the VF30 grade, while the C-2a becomes considerably more challenging in finer grades.
