Belgian Congo Banque du Congo Belge 5 Francs 26.12.1924 Pick 8c PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. A charming design depicts a scene of palm trees and thatched huts, while the back depicts a steamship navigating a river, framed by palm fronds. Although we have previously offered this Matadi branch variety at auction, the example presented here is particularly notable for being tied for the finest graded in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging. A desirable comment-free holder adds further appeal to this beautiful note. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
