Belgium Banque Nationale de Belgique 10,000 Francs-2000 Belgas 4.12.1929 Pick 105 PMG Extremely Fine 40. A breathtaking design, this note showcases an elaborate allegorical composition. The front features Ceres and Neptune riding horse-drawn chariots accompanied by flying figures representing Science, Trade, and Industry. A reclining Belgian lion adds further prestige to the design, while the back presents an equally stunning artistic scene, depicting figures sowing seeds, gathering fruit, and pruning trees. The intricate engraving and beautiful color palette make this a particularly striking banknote, further enhanced by a desirable comment-free holder.
