Brazil Banco Do Brazil 10 Mil Reis ND (ca. 1856) Pick UNL Remainder PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. An intriguing remainder, this design is unlisted in the Standard Catalogue of World Paper Money and marks the first time we have offered the type at auction. The elaborate vignette features Mercury, the Roman god of commerce, distinguished by his winged feet and caduceus, against a backdrop of bustling maritime trade. A desirable comment-free holder adds further appeal to this unusual example of early Brazilian paper money. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
