British North Borneo British North Borneo Company 50 Cents 11.2.1901 Pick 8 PMG Choice Fine 15. An exceptionally scarce early British North Borneo note, with just seven examples recorded in total in the PMG Population Report at time of cataloging. A particularly charming detail is the handwritten 1901 date, applied over the partially printed "18xx" date, illustrating how the dates on these early issues were completed by hand. Minor rust is mentioned on the holder. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
