This outstanding scarce Carson City Morgan displays frosty, original silver surfaces with strong, undisturbed cartwheel luster flowing evenly across both sides. The obverse is sharply struck, showing bold definition throughout Liberty???s hair, with only the most minimal, well-hidden marks that are entirely consistent with the MS65 grade. The reverse is equally impressive, featuring a crisply detailed eagle with full feather definition and clean, luminous fields. Overall balance and surface quality are far above average for this key date, which is seldom encountered at the Gem level. PCGS has graded just 3 MS-65+ coins and a single MS-66 coin higher.
