Rarity7 is a full-service coin and currency dealer. We buy and sell all sorts of rare coins and banknotes. We also buy complete collections (from $10 to $1M and beyond) and offer appraisals, evaluations, and opinions (both warranted and unwarranted ;) We scour the world (and lots and lots of coins shows) for the best, most gorgeous, most fun, most heart-inspiring coins and currency, buy them, photograph them, write up fancy descriptions, and offer them here to you, the astute collector. We love this business with all of our heart, and we're coin nerds through and through. Who We AreRarity7 was founded by (and is run by) Noah Lehmann-Haupt, a lifelong coin nerd who began collecting in force in the early 1990s (which is to say, he became obsessed with coins, driving both his parents crazy because he didn't want to talk about anything else, ever.) He took a short 30-year break and is now back in the coin world - both as a collector and a dealer - and thrilled to be a part of it all again. One important thing to note: You may have known us as Numismattack Trading previously. It was a fun (and punny) name, but the reality is that nobody could ever spell or pronounce it. And you know how well that works for a retail brand. Ok, ok fine now you're wondering "Why Rarity7?" Two reasons: First, it's kind of a weird and techy name and Noah is kind of a weird and techy guy. Second - it represents a rare (but not unique) coin on the Sheldon Rarity Scale, which we think fits quite well.
