This 1895 Proof Morgan dollar has been certified by PCGS to be graded PR 6. The Morgan dollar series is by far the most popular series ever produced by the United State Mint. This coin is by far the King of the series having a total mintage only 880! This particular coin was only minted as a proof strike coin unlike the other dates of the series. With a total mintage of only 880; the PCGS coin facts estimates that only 400 have survived in all grades today. This coin is one of just 6 graded Proof 6 by PCGS with none graded lower. This coin would fit in well with a circulated set. This key date coin has been in strong demand lately with very few currently being offered on the market.
