Brown's Bronchial Troches Box Not Graded. John I. Brown was a Boston pharmacist who worked with his son. Brown bought all of the regular denominations up to the 30¢ from John Gault. Each denomination advertised the very product that was once held by this orange color box, Brown's Bronchial Troches. Approximate box measurements are 2.5 by 2 by 1 inch and throat lozenges were once inside. The label has lost almost all of "BRO" of "BROWN'S. The box also and has an affixed damaged 2¢ Private Die Proprietary Stamp. The sliding part of the box shows moisture staining on the inside and one side is split at two edges. The outer box also has a split along one edge. Nonetheless, a wonderful addition to the collection of any Encased Postage enthusiast. HID08101242017 www.HA.com/TexasAuctioneerLicenseNotice
