Also known as the Apple Cheek variety, as it's the only variety featuring an obverse die that filled out Liberty's cheek seemingly to the point of distension. One of only twenty-three examples reported by PCGS with Brown designation. Smooth cocoa and brick surfaces with only mild porosity. Liberty's cheek retains its exaggerated fullness, despite circulation wear, and all major design outlines are present. With a single Red-Brown and no Full Red examples, this piece is among the finest available, on a technical and aesthetic level, at any given moment. For Early American Copper completionists and variety freaks seeking strong visual markers. Visit www.davidlawrence.com for more information on this coin and 7000+ more coins.
