Great Lakes Coin and Jewelry opened October 1, 2008 and is located in Mentor, Ohio. We're a PCGS, NGC & PMG authorized dealer, alongside being a direct bullion dealer for several mints. We are licensed bonded and insured.
We know that when dealing with sentimental possessions and investments, you want someone that you can trust. Michael Ponsart the owner is a PCGS Authorized dealer, as well as a member of A.N.A, F.U.N, P.A.N, O.S.C.S, and a number of other various organizations. We are licensed, bonded and insured. Mike has been dealing with coins for almost thirty years, learning from his grandfather at just the age of eight.
He attends most of the national shows buying and selling coins and jewelry and has been since he was a young boy.
A message from the owner: “After I bought and sold my first coin, I was hooked. It was always a goal of mine to open my own store, and with my grandfather’s help, it became possible. Fast forward a few years, and he now works for me at my original location. I am forever indebted to him for the love, help and support he gave me to achieve my goals.”

Pertaining to Products
- All items listed are guaranteed as genuine
- Any coins not graded by external organizations are compliant with ANA grading standards
Pertaining to Shipping & Returns
- Shipping is by USPS first class with tracking at a cost of $6.
- Should you require an upgrade to expedited shipping, this will be subject to a small fee
- We do not ship outside of the USA.
- We offer a ten day return policy on any coins
- Please note that bullion is not returnable
- Items purchased via our layaway scheme are exempt from our return policy
- Any item removed from the original packaging or otherwise altered in any fashion is exempt from our return policy

- We accept checks but these are subject to upto two weeks processing time
- We do offer layaway options. Please contact us directly to reach a flexible solution
