Lincroft, NJ)-Legend Rare Coin Auctions proudly announces that we will be selling the incomparable Northern Lights Collection of Toned Morgan Dollars, beginning in the Regency Auction XVIII, being held on September 28, 2016.  This amazing collection was assembled over the course of many years by a fastidious and sophisticated specialist collector with the expert advice of the principles of Legend Numismatics.

Over the years the collector amassed a collection of nearly 100 coins that are "the best of the best" when it comes to color as well as overall technical quality.  Many of the coins were once included in such famed color dollar collections as the Sonnier and Sunnywood-Simpson.  Each coin is PCGS-certified.  "These are the most spectacularly toned dollars out there!" declares Laura Sperber, principle of Legend Numismatics and founder of Legend Rare Coin Auctions.  "Few other collections of toners are of this size and caliber; more than a few of these coins seem to be sent from Heaven by Mother Nature!  Yes, the coins really are that magnificent.  World record prices will be set-be prepared!"

The Northern Lights Collection will be broken up and sold off in small groups, perhaps as many as a dozen coins per sale, beginning in the September Regency Auction.  Selected highlights will be on display at the Legend Rare Coin Auctions' table at the summer Baltimore Expo from July 13-16.  The entire collection will be on display at the American Numismatic Association's World's Fair of Money in Anaheim, CA August 8-13, and at the Long Beach Expo, September 7-10.
